ABC Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to clients, resolve software and hardware issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering top-notch support services. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and has a passion for technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to technical support inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Documenting client interactions and solutions in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Providing training and guidance to clients on product usage and best practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest product developments and industry trends.

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
